Do I have to be rich and successful in my
career before I can contribute back to society?
I do not think so. Although I have only graduated
for about 5 years, I see myself making an impact
on others’ lives, sharing whatever little
I know, giving whatever little time I can, to
make the world a better place.
YOU TOO CAN DO IT!
Your support has been our source of encouragement,
spurring us on to achieve greater things for
the organization.
From a small group that only organize an AGM
a year and monthly tea gatherings, we have evolved
to become a more global society, organizing
overseas trips to visit our fellow AIESEC Alumni
in other countries, and having recently put
together the first-ever AIESEC ALUMNI Asia Pacific
Congress, which was a great success, drawing
more than 50 delegates from around the region.
All these were done with a small committee,
but with the help of many alumni out there.
Some were able to be involved for many nights,
some only on the actual day. Yet all these add
together to make a difference.
I'm sure you are familiar with the AIESEC Vision:
Peace and Fulfillment of Humankind's Potential.
This is our Vision: The Betterment of Humanity
-- "one soul at a time".
Our Mission is to provide a platform where things
you did in AIESEC need not end after you graduate,
and an opportunity for you to continue to learn,
and to create a place where people with common
positive AIESEC experiences will stay on to
contribute to the organization.
Our 5 year goal: A new generation of leaders
who would embrace the AIESEC experience long
after they graduate.
Our top 3 agenda for the coming year:
1) Urshering a new relationship with the current
AIESEC student leaders, both on national and
LC level.
2) Increase membership and encouraging the newly
grads to be more actively involved.
3) Expand the alumni network to the region.
With your support, there will be more exciting
activities to come. All alumni and ex-trainees
of AIESEC Singapore or any other AIESEC Chapters
are most welcome to be part of our great family.
