AIESEC Mainland China was just received membership
status from Aiesec International. At the same
time, more and more of our Singapore alumni
are moving to China to work. Hence, we decided
to embark on a trip to Beijing and Shanghai
in Dec 2002, to visit the various LCs in mainland
China. During the trip, we stayed with our alumni
who are working there, and attended AIESEC Mainland
China's first ever alumni gathering, and a few
of their trainees' parties. We are still keeping
in close contact with our alumni in China, and
sharing our experience with the AIESEC members
there on how to grow an alumni community.
